On 15 November 2021 a cooperation agreement was signed between the Jagiellonian University and Wielka Wieś municipality.
Until recently, the Neoclassical Konopka manor in Modlnica near Kraków was available only to a limited number of the Jagiellonian University staff. It has now changed thanks to the recently signed letter of intent between the University and Wielka Wieś municipality. The agreement envisages a number of joint initiatives in the field of education, communications and marketing, and other areas.
The cooperation will include organisation of symposia, conferences, debates, workshops, presentations, training courses, and other meetings in Modlnica manor. Accommodation at the manor and walks around the area will also be possible.
In recent years, the Jagiellonian University carried out extensive renovation and maintenance works in Modlnica manor, allowing the extension of both commercial and educational activities.
The official opening of the season in planned for spring 2022.
